Have been long term customer here with Tommo and before with Dale. Has failed two of my vehicles in WOF yet each time (including VTNZ) secondary inspections gave not confirmed why Orewa auto failed them. Will not be going here again.

You ask for a response to my 1 star rating that I am entitled to make under Google terms; yes I can elaborate. I chose not to as I found the face to face interaction with workshop manager Ken arrogant and intimidating. Your responses to others, that have clearly had similar experiences to me, are dismissive and disparaging of their experiences. I am not impressed at your nonsensical stance that you are better than other mechanics and that you have higher safety standards. You do not set the standards. NZ Transport do that. I took my vehicle to two independent mechanics. Both totally disagreed with your mechanics assessment. The WOF, that you failed, was granted without any work at all. I have photographic evidence as to your observations being false. I do not recommend this company. I have been a customer of Tomo for some years. This company has changed hands. They do not make that clear. Many positive reviews here are given before these people had taken it over at the end of April so look at responses after that and then take a very close look. My experience is that this company invents WOF issues and fabricates / inflates charges as per other reports here and on local forums. There is much more. I will make my complaints to the authorities. I will not be revisiting this company and advise anyone to avoid.
