I've been a client here for 25 + years over 3 or 4 different cars. Always good and prompt service.

Went to get a couple tyres done. Dan sorted me out with a fair price and was lucky enough to have a courtesy car available too. Great service will definitely be back ๐Ÿ‘

Thank you, Rose. I really appreciated your help in my time of need and I was able to drive safely home to Tauranga. Excellent service.

Absolutely disappointed with Motor Doctors Crofton Downs. I went for a WOF check and unfortunately my car did not Pass the WOF check, upon reviewing the reasons provided, I found them to be unnecessary and unjustified. Also, they handed me a quote of $1,998 which was unbelievable. To cross-check the same I took car to another WOF service and turns out there were hardly few things that needed fix and got it fixed and WOF Passed in $90. Although, I won't be coming again to Motor Doctors, I would recommend others to be alert and take second opinion before going further with any service.

Dishonest. 2 yrs ago I came here for a warrant, and my corolla failed on front pads and rotors, which was going to be $550. I opted to put the pads in myself and left the rotors cause they seemed fine to me. The car passed the re-check no worries, without having replaced the rotors... Next year the corolla failed on the exact same issue, but in the rear. Again, yet now suspicious, I opted to do the work myself and again left the rotors (pads looked ok too with plenty left on them), but this time measured rotor thickness. Original thickness for my corolla is 9mm, with recommended replacement thickness being 7.5mm. I measured 0.1mm of wear, IE they were still at 8.9mm, so no need to replace, also brakes felt and performed fine. Again on recheck the car was fine. This time I asked for justification of the $550 and told them I'd managed to do the job for around $80 and 20 mins of my time. They told me 'well you've saved yourself $400 then'. Recently a friend had the same thing, but actually paid for the likely unnecessary work to be done. Although this place is convenient for me, I won't be going back. Yesterday I got a warrant at VTNZ (2 yrs on since first 'failed rotors' at Motor Doctor) and the car passed fine.
