Before I bought a van, Devonport Auto completed a WOF and completely missed the rust (see pictures!). They passed the WOF and the van was then sold to me (there was no mention of rust on the documents and it's so blatant that I thought it must be ok - I trusted the garage and seller - terrible decision). The van then naturally failed its WOF at a reputable garage, and now I have to pay up to 50% of the vans' worth in fixing it, not to mention the stress caused with permit parking and insurance issues. I went to Devonport Auto to ask how they could miss something so important and so obvious and the person just said "sorry mate, I don't have a time machine". Amazing. Would not recommend, ever, to anyone. I've complained to NZTA, Commerce Comission, and others.

Really awesome place. Hayden and the team are knowledgeable, trustworthy, fair, and transparent. They have experience in many makes and models. Highly recommend it without reservation. I received excellent customer service upon my arrival I loved it. A very great business and has super welcoming staff. They are efficient and affordable. Even, when I moved out of the local area, Hayden and Dev Auto helped me when I bought another car. You can't put a price on that. cheers!
